Strangers on a Train ranks on the top of the list, and of course the Alfred Hitchcock presentation shines. Swanson also delves into various movies recreating the mystery. Swanson includes a brief description of the plot and characters. As I read the book, I made copious lists of books that I had not heard of, wanted to read, or had read and wanted to read again. I loved this book namely because it was set in a bookshop, at Christmas and was about crime fiction.
